Featuring 8 × 10/100 Mbps PoE ports and 1 × 10/100 Mbps RJ45 uplink port, this compact switch provides reliable network connectivity and power delivery for compatible PoE devices. Its fan-free metal design ensures quiet operation and dependable performance in various installation environments.
8 PoE Ports for Easy IP Camera Installation:
Equipped with 8 Fast Ethernet PoE ports, the Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E(C) simplifies the installation of IP cameras by transmitting both data and power through a single Ethernet cable. Supporting IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE standards, the switch can supply up to 30 W per PoE port, making it suitable for compatible surveillance cameras and other powered network devices. Its total PoE power budget reaches 115 W, allowing multiple devices to operate efficiently within the available power capacity.
Intelligent PoE Management for Enhanced Protection:
The intelligent PoE management system helps protect the switch by managing power delivery when the power supply exceeds the permitted limit. This feature supports stable operation and helps extend the service life of the device. With automatic power management across its PoE ports, the switch provides a convenient solution for network installations that require consistent power delivery and simplified maintenance.
Long-Range PoE Transmission up to 300 Meters:
The Hikvision switch 8 port supports long-range PoE transmission of up to 300 meters on Ports 1 to 4, helping installers connect compatible IP cameras over extended distances. This feature can be useful for surveillance systems covering larger areas, including warehouses, outdoor installations, and commercial properties. Actual transmission performance may vary depending on the camera model, Ethernet cable quality, and installation conditions.
6KV Surge Protection for Network Reliability:
Designed for demanding installation environments, this Hikvision PoE switch includes 6KV surge protection to improve protection against sudden electrical surges, including lightning-related disturbances. The built-in surge protection device helps enhance network equipment reliability. Combined with its durable metal housing and fan-free construction, the switch offers a practical design for long-term use in security and networking applications.
VIP Ports for Prioritized Video Transmission:
The DS-3E0109P-E(C) features VIP ports on Ports 1 and 2, which prioritize data forwarding when available bandwidth is insufficient. This function helps maintain the transmission of important network traffic during congestion, supporting smoother communication for connected surveillance devices. Its 1.80 Gbps switching capacity, 1.34 Mpps packet forwarding rate, and store-and-forward switching design contribute to efficient data handling within a small network.
Compact Design and Flexible Installation:
With dimensions of 170 × 27.6 × 93.1 mm and a net weight of only 0.35 kg, the Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E(C) is suitable for installations where space is limited. Its metal housing and fan-free design support quiet operation, while desk-mounted and wall-mounted installation options provide flexibility for different network setups. The switch operates between 0°C and 40°C, making it appropriate for indoor networking environments within its specified operating conditions.
