Long-Range PoE Transmission up to 300 Meters:
One of the key features of this Hikvision PoE switch is its Long Range transmission mode, which supports transmission distances of up to 300 meters through ports 1 to 8. This capability helps simplify the installation of IP cameras and other PoE devices in locations that are far from the network switch. Actual transmission performance may vary depending on the camera model, cable quality, and installation conditions.
Gigabit Uplink Ports and Efficient Switching:
The DS-3E0310HP-E includes 8 × 10/100 Mbps PoE ports and 2 × Gigabit RJ45 ports, offering connectivity for multiple network devices and uplink connections. With a switching capacity of 5.60 Gbps, a packet forwarding rate of 4.17 Mpps, and an 8K MAC address table, the switch supports efficient data forwarding for small and medium-sized surveillance networks.
VIP Port and Improved Data Forwarding:
Hikvision’s VIP Port functionality prioritizes data from ports 1 to 8 when bandwidth resources are insufficient. This feature is designed to help maintain data forwarding for connected devices during network congestion. The store-and-forward switching method contributes to reliable packet processing and network communication.
6KV Surge Protection for Enhanced Reliability:
The Hikvision switch 8 port poe features 6KV surge protection, helping improve device reliability in environments exposed to electrical surges. Its metal housing and fan-free design provide a practical combination of durability and quiet operation. The switch supports both wall-mounted and desk-mounted installation, allowing flexible placement in different network setups.
Compact Design and Easy Installation:
With dimensions of 217.6 × 27.8 × 103.55 mm and a net weight of 0.55 kg, this compact PoE switch is suitable for installations where space efficiency matters. Its plug-and-play unmanaged design allows users to connect compatible devices without requiring complex network configuration. The 48 VDC power supply and maximum power consumption of 120 W support its network and PoE functions.
Ideal Applications for Hikvision DS-3E0310HP-E:
This 8-port Fast Ethernet PoE switch is suitable for IP camera systems, small surveillance networks, access control installations, and other compatible PoE applications. Its combination of long-distance PoE transmission, Hi-PoE support, surge protection, and Gigabit uplink ports makes it a practical option for network infrastructure requiring power and data connectivity in one device.
